Marketing and Branding for Fast Growth AEC Firm

Reporting directly to the CEO, Lisa led Marketing and co-managed Business Development (BD) for a fast-growth AEC firm, The Vertex Companies, from 2005 to 2025. Over time, Lisa built a lean but mighty in-house marketing and BD team. Core responsibilities encompassed branding, website development, content strategy, and public relations. She also contributed significantly to BD strategy, leadership, and training. A few key projects that Lisa oversaw at Vertex included branding and website development after a manager-led buyback from a publicly-traded parent (2005), co-managing international operations in Mexico, Canada, and Europe (2006-2009), managing the tech stack for marketing from 2010 to 2023, launch of intranet and management of internal communications strategy (2021-2024) and successfully integrating several brands after acquisition, including: McGlamery Engineering, TCS, Koch Environmental, Compass Project Management, CEI, Optistar Technologies, Breakwater, TriLogix, Xpera Group, Lockwood Kessler and Bartlett, Boyle Consulting Group, Neptune Fire Protection Engineering, Fulcrum, CBBG Group, and LitCon Group. Even in this environment of constant change, the firm experienced ~20+% YOY growth.
